World band from Australia to Riddu Riddu

Riddu Riddu has made a star booking from Australia to this years 20th anniversary. The band Blue King Brown has taken the world with storm and are now coming to Manndalen to take indigenous people's music to new levels.

Blue King Brown is one of Australia's leading band these days. Through their huge engagement and catchy rhythms they have been playing in Europe, Great Britain, Canada, USA and Texas.

The band is of indigenous origin and the genre is a mix of reggae, urban, roots and hip-hop. Since the beginning political questions related to universal conflicts like social differences and injustice in the world have been important for the band. With their music they encourage to use the globalizing for something positive in a bigger picture through cooperation, solidarity and dialog. The founders of the band Carlo Santone and Natalie Pa'apa'a was discovered as street musicians in Melbourne, and is now about to embrace the world.
 
These last years the band have made great success and have been traveling around the world, and they were last at South by South West (SXSW) in Austin, Texas. The band has also had guest performances on stage with artists like Carlos Santana, Damien Marley, Lauryn Hill, John Butler Trio and Michael Franti & Spearhead.
 
Much experienced musicians, hard hitting lyrics, active political and social engagement has been the band's success factor, in addition to a phenomenal stage show from front figure Natalie Pa'apa'a that is what have made the band know over the world. This will take the Riddu-field by storm!
