THERE IS SORROW AT THE RIDDU PLAINS – A MEMORY CONCERT WILL BE HELD AT 18.00 PM WITH REGARDS FOR THE NATIONAL TRAGEDY

The Riddu Riddu festival will however like to invite everyone to a memory concert at the Riddu plains at 18.00 pm today. The memory concert will mark the unity and solidarity with the people involved, and will give an expression of compassion and concern for each other.

"This is the most painful day of Riddu’s history, and not a day for further celebration,"says festival leader Ragnhild Dalheim Eriksen. "Our thoughts are first and foremost to the families of those who were killed and injured. Now we must support each other, care and stand together in this difficult time. "

All venues at the festival are open, and a crisis team is at the festival for those who need it.

The festival has commissioned buses that will bring guests who want to end the festival both north and south.
