I'm in Lavvu

I'm in Lavvu: an exhibit and an event where the lavvu's of the 21st century creates and imagines. How does tradition and renewal meet when it comes to the lavvu as architecture and residence, aesthetic expression and culture experience, political and personal symbol?

 

On the festival area you as an audience can have a look at and inside the art-lavvu's. What would you said to a lavvu where the interior is a Gallery, a ecology-futuristic lavvu of recycled materials, a series of designer-jeans-BaggyLavvuJeans – of reuse clothes and a mix tape in a vivid encounter between hip-hop and indigenous cultures? Or a lavvu with new forms, patterns and design for entrance to the lavvu and for the fire. All this and more, come and fall in lavvu!
